Roasted Okra
You'll always cook them this way after trying this!

Cut okra into rings and place in a large bowl

Drizzle in some olive oil

Add a healthy amount of black pepper and course salt
-
Mix well to coat the rings
-
Spread rings out on a cookie sheet
-
Roast uncovered at 400 for 17 minutes
Yard Long Beans
Crisp and keeps that garden taste

Simply cut the beans to the length you like
-
Pre-boil enough water to submerge all the cut beans
-
Add a good bit of salt & onion powder to the boiling water
-
Carefully add beans to the boiling water and cover
-
Let them cook for 8 minutes and remove - That's it, easy!
Dressing for Salad and Sprouts
Using your own ingredients is much healthier!

In a capped bottle add, 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon each of: salt, lemon pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, lime juice, and soy sauce

2 teaspoon honey
-
2 teaspoon water
-
Shake well then add 2/3 cup olive oil
-
Shake again before putting on salads
Cactus
Legit!!

1.5 pounds of cactus, remove thorns with knife, wash and cube
-
Cook for 20 min in deep pan with 2 cups water, tsp salt & small onion. will change color when finished

cook 4 potatoes cubed separately

Drain cactus and potatoes

Fry cactus in olive oil with green onions, cilantro, jalapeños, 1 diced tomato for 8 min
-
Add potatoes and fry for another 7 min
